I’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking I’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking about the election, and the next few years, and my past work with farmers and ranchers, and my personal mental/emotional/success/healing journey in the context of broader systems and the world. I’m going to show up very differently in my social media. I’m ready for that, and the only reason it’s even possible is because of the work I’ve been doing. I think I can really help people in a different way than I have in the past. I’ve worked with folks on all kinds of technical issues like helping them be better graziers, adapt to changing ecological conditions, find a meat processor, better understand their financials, and share their origin stories. My EL board told me a few years ago that my business was really about people. I knew they were right, but I didn’t know what it meant (like, how was I going to manifest my work with people, if it wasn’t technical??). Now I know. Every one of us has healing to do from the lives we’ve lived and the things we’ve experienced, especially in the complex, stressful world of agriculture. I’m ready to start talking about this, and what we can do to make a change and feel better in every way. How about you? Want to join me? ❤️
